About the Northern California Foothills IAHSP Regional Chapter The Gold Country region lays at the foot of the Sierra Nevada mountains and is known for it?s beauty, history, relaxing pace, and peaceful wide open spaces. Buyers are continually drawn to the area for these features. Properties vary greatly in acreage, square footage, style, and price range. The large expanse and vastly rural area can also make it difficult to locate listings. Having those listings Staged and marketed on the StagedHomes.com site provides greater exposure to a broad market! Staging is still a new concept for most area realtors, which poses interesting and unique challenges to the small, but growing number of ASPs in our area. The need for a chapter became evident after several ASPs from this region met during the 2006 symposium. Upon our return home, we began to search for other area ASPs. Many of them were new and we found that even experienced ASPs desired a local chapter to assist them with their growing business. We had an informal meeting at Starbuck?s where we discussed the impact a chapter in this area could have for all ASPs and decided a chapter needed to be formed ASAP! We prepared to be up and running in time for the second annual World Wide Staging Service Day in September. It was a good way to get to know one another and work together as a team. Our goal now is to work on building our businesses by providing a link between IAHSP and individual ASPs, serving as a networking source, fostering professional growth within our industry, as well as facilitating educational, marketing, and business opportunities, all with the highest professional standards and ethics. We believe the Staging industry will change the way people sell their homes in this region, starting with the founding members of this chapter.
